Reporting

Assessment and reporting play a crucial role in the academic development of all students at Hartwell Primary.

Staff use a range of assessment tools to closely monitor student progress. These are both formal assessment tools and continuous informal monitoring by teachers.

The relationship between home and school is very important to us at Hartwell and we encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s learning. Teachers are always available to discuss any aspects of your child’s learning.

Formal Parent/Teacher meetings are held in Term 1 and early in Term 3. A written report is provided in Semester 1 and 2 which gives a detailed analysis of your child’s learning progress.
